Its in its last stretch, but thats mainly because of GW2. This game isn't meant to survive another year, its a bridge at this point.

I only own the original Guild Wars, no expansions, should I invest in all the expansions at this time? Or just wait for Guild Wars 2?

This thread will end up moved, but...

You can pick up the complete collection of the game for $30 now, which includes the entire game. The one downside is that adding this set to an existing account only adds 2 additional character slots as opposed to the 8 you would have from the complete collection itself.

It's up to you to decide if the $30 is worth it based no how much time you plan to spend in the game. I know I've got my moneys worth, and I bought the CE sets.

I'd say go for it.You will always get good value for money.

Just be prepared to play by yourself with heroes (npc allies) for a large minority of the game as the player base has dropped a lot over the last few years, even more so when GW2 drops.

Try and find an active guild and you should be all good for the next 6 months or so.

Yes, it's actually very clever the way they have distrcts/instanced worlds/heros & henchmen set up in this game. It feels as populated as any other MMO, as long as you don't actively look for groups and you find a large guild to do things with other real people.

If you H/H the whole game you won't even notice, and when you go to say, Kamadan D1, it looks extremely full.
