merc hero question

Hi, I purchased a merc hero slot and registered a char.

The problem is I can add the merc hero to one character i have but not another (he is not a clone, a pvp char i made fast)

My two chars are both lvl 20 pve toons, I should be able to add the pvp merc hero to both parties but i can only add to one

You can add any char to be a merc hero. Each char must talk to the merc hero NPC to unlock merc heroes.

Basically what he said. ^^ Talk to the mercenary registrar and you can add heroes to party. If you start in nightfall you can add level 20 mercs @ level 3.
