Im talking about the positions such as Terra roles or any role that needs a shield.

I found an OS shield a few days ago with

R11/16
Armor +9 vs Undead
-5 (19% Chance)

Do you think this would be worth switching a shield w/

+45hp ench
Armor + 10 vs Slashing/Blunt etc

Of course when using again enemies such as sekeletal berserker.

pretty simple to figure it out your self isn't it?
battlefield 90% undead mobs then go with undead mod.

adding extra armour against undead would be useful if anyone ever died on battlefield because they took too much damage, as it is, you can switch shields if you want but it won't give you any advantage because a totally normal shield (or even no shield) is enough to tank undead mobs.

I guess it can be useful for stuff like R/A t3 but thats about it. Most other roles 9 armor makes little to no diff. You have to remember you got less sod overhang this way tho.

I don't remember the study, but Old School shields are affected by the skill max armor cap, while insc shields are not. So if you run Armor of Earth like many T1/2 I see these days you may hit the Armor cap and not receive as much armor as you should.
I'll try to find the study and post a link.
Honestly, I've never had any problems with damage on the battlefield, which is really the only place with hordes of Undead.
