Were it -2wE instead of -2stance, I think it would be in the low triple digit ecto region. -2stance is not anywhere near as popular with the people paying those kind of prices, though. I'll take a rough guess that such a shield should have a reserve around ... um, under 50k I think. I wouldn't expect it to go much past 20e if it got even that high.

I don't know if it would be more appealing to DoA folks than it would to the r9 Tall Shield collector folks.

I hope you get more input, as both my guesses there are really shaky.

I don't think it's that there's some hardcoded rule in the game against using stances in DoA. It seems more like the people who are paying the relatively prices we see for 10vDemons shields want the wE ones specifically. Other mods have less critical functionality to fewer players willing and able to spend the same kind of fake-money on a demons shield. I would guess the lower popularity of stance shields is thanks to fewer players using stances they trust to stay up in situations where they NEED a shield to survive than those using enchantments they trust won't be stripped in similar situations.


As for the other numbers guessed, well, salva is pretty high on the list of the people I'd most like to ask help for any Tall Shield PC (sorry if I "out" you there, buddy,) so give a lot more weight to his guesses than mine on this one!

Another EDIT - I just saw this recent Sell thread with a Tall Shield just like yours pictured (both r9, mods even in same order - only difference is yours has 264g merch value, that one has 260g.) The highest posted bid there is 42e, so perhaps we're all wrong here. (I mean no offense by including the link - I figure any recent actual trade data is certainly as useful to price check as others' best guesses of what you can/should expect selling another one.)
