Lost items after crash

I did use the search function, so I apologize in advance if this issue has been raised before.

I did a Northlands run for a low-level necromancer in Pre-Searing about 30 minutes ago. The player paid 400g for the run and said I'd get to keep all drops. To my surprise the necromancer boss dropped a Charr Salvage Kit. The player had to leave so he left me alone in the area to pick up everything. I did, and the game crashed while transporting to Ascalon City:

"Guild Wars was unable to complete the operation. Please try again in a few minutes"

I log back in and find myself in Ascalon City... except half the items I picked up are gone, including the kit. What's up with that? Is there any way I can contact Support and get these back?

I'm sure the support people have bigger fish to fry but still. Thanks in advance.

It might be possible to do this with their restore-you-hacked-account-thingy, but I think you'll have to be lucky for it to be as precise as you need it. Not sure if they'd do it anyways as your account wasn't stolen or anything, you're just unlucky. Mail them anyways and see if you can have some help. They won't compensate you though, just restore your account to a previous state.

No, that feature is ONLY for hacked accounts, nothing else

LoL..I remember last time this happened... how many claims were there? Too many to count really...At least it was never as bad as 9 Dragons got in the end. Never under estimate the power of greed.

Unfortunately we are a fan site, and thus have no control or influence with support issue's. You will need to contact Guild Wars support and explain the situation. They will then assist you if they can, or let you know if they won't be able to assist you with this issue. I'd suggest it's better to contact them no matter what else is said here, as they have final say on the matter.
