In order to gain rewards in GuildWars 2 will you have to re-use the name of your character and will it have to be under the same email address?

You will be given an option in GW2 to link to a GW1 account for HoM, but the details of this are unknown. It is extremely unlikely that the same email would be required. You will have to wait for further details like the rest of us, because ANet hasn't told us the precise details of how accounts are linked yet.

Anet hasn't told us how exactly it will work, but you surely won't have to reuse your old toons' names.
