Seriously, how about a switch setting in the Options control panel that Auto Skips all the NPC Drivel... "And so Begins ....," or at least sets a cookie so you only have to hear it Once!

I like the idea of not having to see NPC chatter. Which is why i propose an NPC chat box just like we have team chat/guild chat etc. So we can just turn it off.

I would like to have all NPC banter in explorable areas and mission to the 'Trade' channel. Rename it to 'NPC chat" in explorable, and keep track separately of their active mode, so you can disable them separately, and disabling trade won't disable NPC chat.
It's not like anyone is going to trade while fighting.

I agree with any suggestions posted above. The NPCs' chat is annoying, so we always swicth to all chat and turn team chat off.

Honestly, I sometimes like all that text, but not all the time and most of all I hate having it in team chat yeah. How often a teammate writes something in chat and you lose it in the sea of npc talk? And how often you lose it cause you had it disabled while alone (not to be flooded by npcs) and forgot to enable it back? Myself, very often, and that's annoying.

hmm, I don't really mind having the text in the chat, though guess it would be ok if you could remove it.
please don't remove the text bubbles though. I still hate that I missed pressing printscreen in time when Gwen said she should have brought a coat while standing in a pool of lava.

- Move all NPC text that appears in local or team chat into a third "NPC chat", that takes the place of the Trade chat while in combat areas.
- Put the random text bubbles into the NPC chat channel too, so you they get registered and you can check them out efen if they disappear before you read them.
- Allow to disable H&H chat, so you don't have to see the chat bubbles if you want to.
With these three changes, those that do not want to miss anything won't miss it, and those that don't want to see it anymore won't see it.
