I just got an old laptop from a friend who was about to throw it away, an Asus F5R. I already have a netbook for all my computer needs, but I still have the urge to play Guild Wars.. Would this old thing run it, if even on minimum settings?
• Display: 15.4" TFT (WXGA) 1280•800
• CPU: Core Duo T2130
• Graphic: ATI RADEON® XPRESS X1100
• Memory: 1024MB DDRII 667mhz(1x1024mb)
• HDD: 120GB SATA HDD(5400 RPM)
• Optical: 8X DVD Super Multi
I'm at work, and can't do any major research on it, so I was hoping someone would have a quick answer for me. Cheers!
Got an old laptop, would it run?

It should work, I think u will have low fps in towns with a lot of people like Kamadan aed1.

It will probably run most towns so you can trade and stuff, but I think you might encounter trouble when you go questing, especially in eye of the north areas that are more demanding of your graphics card.

It takes amazingly little hardware power to run GW1 on low settings. I'd think it would run well enough to play PvE. PvP might be too choppy.

I first started playing GW 7 years ago on a low end dell laptop, even though it is likely that the minimum requirements did go up at some time I'd still imagine that you will be able to run it. GW was never a very demanding game.
