Let me know which one and I'll add an entry at the bottom. Thanks!

That's the one our guild has. It's really hard to see which others are missing, this is the emblem list coming from the unofficial wiki, claiming there are 174 emblems, compared to the given list of 168 there should be a few more. It's just going to take a lot of time to compare them one by one, which I don't have the time for now.
Hope this helps a bit at least.
while we're on the subject of cape emblems, i couldnt help think the last ones look kind meh and theyre hasnt been new ones in forever. I cant imagine them being as much effort to put new ones in (maybe just another texture file) compared to the features people always ask the impossible of you. Maybe hold a new competiition or just add 10 or so new images....pleaseeeeeee

So hard to believe they can't pull these statistics from the game's servers. They're saved and not changing!
That is unless the statistics are NOT about the use of guild emblems among all players but about the guild cape emblems used by players who read forums / other social media. I remember the stats about skill usage that you could pull, from PvP and PvE, and stats about how much gold players have - that was mindblowing. This should be a piece of cake compared to what you did in the past. |
Or, more important:
Guild symbols popular amonsts people who care to tell them which symbols they use.

Presumably you would want only one person per guild to vote? Otherwise your results would be skewed.

If 10 5 person guilds have one symbol it is less important that if 1 100 person guild has it.
Hi everyone,
I've completed the table of emblems and had to create a new poll link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F5BZQH9
You do NOT need to vote again (in fact you should not) as I've got the results for votes so far and I will take into account the modifications that have been applied.
Thanks.

I would be interested to know how many picked the emblem for its meaning ( to them ) as opposed to just liking its look?
For my part it was the the meaning of the emblem as it went with our guild name, though I've had to explain it a few times to those that don't pick up on it at a glance. |
my hubby's (and his brothers) guild--the symbol and the name are the same.
my 2nd guild--I liked the symbol
(there is no mouse in the choices
)K
So does this mean we won't be able to design our own guild emblem either in GW2?
If there was one minor pet peeve i've always had with Guildwars, it was the severe limitations surrounding your actual guild. (Name, tag, guildhall not having ANYTHING interactive, not being able to create guild events -not relying on forums-, customisation of halls/capes/... and even the hierarchical structure of your guild.)
I truly, truly hope some of the points I've mentioned will be improved upon, because I, personally, have always found the intire "guild-happening" in Guild Wars to be severly lacking.

If GW2 allowed us to design our own emblems, I guarantee you'd end up with a load of immature brats running around in it thinking it's cool or funny to have nazi symbols, penises or swear words on their armour/flags/weapons etc. While ANet may run a competition to design a new emblem before the game releases (or shortly afterwards, when guild halls are introduced), I can't see them having a staff member specifically installed to vet submitted emblems every time someone wants to start a new guild.
