Henchmen-related question

I was aware of something weird or probably a rule. While fighting charr in Ascalon, my healer henchmen passed away a few times. The weird thing
is she sometimes revived herself but sometimes not. What's the reason ?

Resurrection skills somewhere else in your party probably.

Henchmen don't revive themselves. Other henchmen probably used Resurrection Signet, or you had a cut-scene, and all cut-scenes res your whole party and bring it together.

AFAIK nobody (players, heroes, henchmen or enemies) can revive themselves. But they all can carry skill to revive others. Most likely your henchmen (or at least some of them) are carrying such skill: resurrection signet.

The downside of that signet (after use) is that it needs a moral boost before it can be used again. So when things go wrong and members of your party die a lot, it can happen that all resurrection signets have been used and that you didnt get a moral boost in between.

In that case you can try to continue your journey without the dead partymember(s), which makes things harder ofcourse. If you manage to reach a town/outpost or a portal and enter it then your team will be complete again (entering a town or outpost also cures all deathpenalty, but walking through a portal does not).

If your whole team is whiped your whole team will be ressurected at a ressurectionshrine (if any available).

You know technically there are 2 skills in this game that allows self resurrection after one dies.
One is a derv PVE only skill ....... The other is a spirit from a Rit......
so it is posable to self rez

Eternal Aura

However, none of these can be found on the healer henchman. It was most likely another henchman using rez signet.
