Quick Ascension Question: or Am I seeing Things.
Blackbirdx61
Ok Beat my double last night, (NP)
Today I logged into Gates of Kryta to help someone who was asking for assist in Alliance; but there was a language barrier and we lost track of each other somehow. Anyhow so long as I was there I thought I would burn some Zombies, and ....
Well I spotted at least two bosses I had not encountered before; does Ascention open up new bosses in the old Quests; or did I just get Lucky?

Not that I'm aware of. You likely experienced the boss shuffling that is common in Prophecies. Numerous different bosses will share the same spawn point, so you often get different ones in certain places during different runs.
Later on, it makes Prophecies elite skill captures TONS of fun.

Zenzai
I pray that is sarcasm? Having to repeatly enter an area and hope a certain boss spawns was not fun, by any means.

I would normally agree with Zenzai in that I normally don't often revisit places I've completed; but I did alot of Farming in the Mission when I first reached Kryta and Have a soft spot for that Map; still it's been a few weeks since I visited Kryta; and so I would not be suprised if they shuffled since my last round of Zombie Hunting. BTW, found this Temple in a swap today, had to burn enough Zombies to Cast a George Romero film to get there. ; ) Oddly it was just full of folks ; )
Thanks much for the replies. BB.

You probably just took another path. Most of the 'boss shuffling' happens once you reach the Fire Island chain. Gates of Kryta has 6 bosses, and they are there each time.

No the First Boss who was always a Caster before was a Ghoul, and the last who's always been an Elm or something, was a Monk; Miter hat and All; I respect the Idea, but I know this map like the back of my hand thats why the changes jumped out at me.

I took a non-optimized alt and his crummy heroes through the beginning of Hell's Precipice like half a dozen times trying to grab Panic (was too stubborn and lazy to earn 3k Balthazar Faction).

Boss shuffling i agree takes place all over - ask anyone who has done alot of undead farming outside bergen and you will find out that at times just past the house on the left a monk boss appears.Im sure before ive had a different boss there also who maybe a ranger - when you 55 farm there the last thing you really want to see is either a monk or ranger boss ( ranger causes energy loss ) as it tends to screw the runs up.
Gate of kryta - im sure if at start you head forward then round the bend the boss there can be either mesmer or ( memory is vague ) ele boss.

Nebo Terrace at least has shuffling bosses, see http://www.guildwiki.org/Nebo_Terrace#Bosses

Went back today and Nazeem the Damned (Elm) was back Shame I was hoping to Capture a W Elite and so was not in my normal Elm 2nd Class; .... So apparently they shuffle more often than I thought.
Oh well looking at Nazeem's (lame) skill bar; I doubt I'll capture any Elites in the Nieghborhood anyway. BB.

Just to clarify, Prophecies bosses in explorable areas are a random spawn from that "boss points" list every time you zone. Just keep rezoning, the right one will spawn eventually.
Mournblade
Yeah, that was my mistake - early on, the bosses can spawn randomly at certain locations, but there is one spawn for each boss. Later on, there are more bosses than spawn points, so you don't always get the bosses you want. :P
P.S. Imryyr has fallen!!! Catch up with me in Tanelorn.

While most Prophecies bosses share spawn points, there's a few that have constant spawn points, like Maw the Mountain Heart or Kepkhet Marrowfeast.
In Gates of Kryta you may encounter 4 bosses, and always four bosses. Out of a list of 6 bosses, one of each profession. All of them undead, 4 of them skeletons, 2 of them zombies.
I don't know the extent of the randomization, but in my case, the first one is usually monk or ranger, the second is often elementalist, the third mesmer, warrior or necromancer, and the last is often ranger or necromancer.
But that's just what happened often to me. I don't know if they may appear in any order.
