Black Bear question

So I'm thinking of running a paragon/ranger for some shenanigans, and I read that the black bear can actually take advantage of the paragon shouts due to Brutal Mauling, which under normal circumstances does nothing, but since it is technically an attack skill, will trigger the shouts and chants. My question is this: Is it worth bringing the bear, who normally does less DPS due to the activation time on Brutal Mauling but can utilize my paragon's abilities, or would I be better off just running a standard pet for the higher damage? I'm honestly leaning toward the former, if only to get some mileage out of Anthem of Flame and "Find their weakness!"

4 seconds activation is awwwwwwwfully slow, I will stick to other pets instead.

very gimmicky and not worth the hassle, but it's totally up to you on how you feel like playing.

Better off with "pet attacks" and/or Never Rampage Alone i would think,

Can anyone tell me how pet attacks trigger Anthem of Envy? ( for eg)
I.e. Does it get triggered for "the pet" or since you use the "pet attack" skill does it trigger for the player? ive tested a wee bit ,but couldnt be sure.

I.e. if i used AoE -> spear attack skill-> pet attack skill
Does the pet attack get "AoE" buff as well as spear attack?

turns out it was in wiki, under "pet attacks" page not the pet attacks section in pet page...

"Anthem of Fury and Zealous Anthem are the only Anthems which are triggered by pet attacks"

But pet attacks also won't trigger "ends when you hit with attack skill" .
