Hello, I would like to get some HoM points before the release of GW2, mostly for the heritage gear (which requires something like 10 points to have the full set) but if I can easily get more points for more rewards I don't mind at all xD
I don't want to buy all games because I don't want to spend so much money.
So my question is, which one of the 3 stand alone would grant me the easiest points ? also, if it could combine with the best scenario it would be great, because i'm also interested in the Tyria Lore (still that's secondary because I already read the wiki and many websites about it).
Also which class would get me through the PvE campaign the fastest ?
Thanks
which game for the most and easiest HoM points ?

Looking at the prices on Amazon US, the Trilogy is currently $22 then you'd need to buy Eye of the North (around $20). That will give you the best way to get your HoM points. Each stand-alone game runs at pretty much the same price for each individual chapter. No idea if this is your local currency or not (it's not mine!) I usually just talk in dollar terms when there's no specifics.
If you can get the Complete Collection (trilogy and eotn combined) then this usually runs cheaper than Trilogy+eotn. While I understand only wanting to cash out on just one campaign, you're really shooting yourself in the foot in terms of best way to get HoM points, best way to enjoy the game, best way to be effective etc.
The wiki page on HoM Points ( http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide...uments_rewards ) indicates you can get the most points from Nightfall, but that doesn't mean you'll get these overnight, a lot of them are best obtained with the other 2 campaigns attached to your account.
As for which class will get you through a chapter fastest? It all depends on which class you play best at. If you're used to frontline characters, then picking a backline healing monk wont be quick or efficient for you. I strongly recommend having a play about with various classes until you find a style you like. Or if you don't have time for that, watching some Youtube vids to see how the classes play. It's far from perfect, but it's something.
Remember there's 6 years of content here. Of course it wont take you 6 years to play through it all, but there isn't really an easy way to pick up one game and hit the ground running.

Ok thank you very much Kamara, I didn't know about this Guild Wars complete collection, as for I most of my games on Steam, and it is not available on Steam, only the 4 games & GW Trilogy are available.
Also I just read that we will still be able to get HoM points on GW even after GW2 release, so that's a good news because I was really like : "shit i've got to rush the game before the release", now that I know that I'm less in a hurry so I might buy Complete Collection and do all the campaigns.
Well thank you again for your informations.

All stuff from HoM is just aesthetic. Don't buy GW1 just for rewards in GW2.
If it interests you, buy Complete collection and play it because you enjoy it.
And to answer your question, Complete collection is the best, easiest and fastest way to get HoM points. Not having one chapter means you don't have skills from there -> impact on yourself and heroes -> harder playing. Not having one chapter means you're inable to get some very easy points. (Hero of ......, Protector of ......,)
But if you insist on as cheap as possible way, buy NF and EotN. Display Eternal Hero of Elona and any hero like here.

You can get 30/50 with any combination of the 3 main campaigns with Eotn. I did the numbers yesterday to confirm. I think factions would be the easiest to do this with as the campaign is short and easy, and the skills in cantha are very good. It also gives you the Deep and Urgoz for statues, plus the two faction reps Kurzick and Luxon which are very easy to get to the right level for HoM statue.
