So i'm sorry, but I'm going to need a ton of help here. Apparently they sprinkle in some ministry mobs for you to plow through just trying to even reach the quest area. I don't even get there without my team with around 25% DP.

But more importantly, Soar dies in literally the first 3-5 seconds when the fight begins!!!! And my team entirely wipes in the first 10 seconds anyways.

Mind you i'm doing this as a dervish and i'm having the worst time trying to figure out what to do.

I am a casual player, mind you. My heros are barely runed and equipped, I don't have the money to go around doing such things, I ran out of clovers and cons just getting to this point.

I'm at a very massive roadblock here and I don't think I can get past it on my own.

If you have decent micro skills this is a breeze. Run a panic mesmer, an ST comm rit and an SoS. These are all "meta" builds and should be easy to find but if you need a better idea of templates I can help there too.

As you leave Aerie (Tengu village) where the dialogue starts there is a slight downward facing slope to the left of the Tengu line (facing ministry NPCs). Drop your comm spirits on the slope here so they are within range of you but will be physically blocked. At the bottom of the slope drop your SoS to block. Micro panic towards the left-center of the enemy line on a caster. You may want to consider flags since you are doing this as a physical. Take splinter weapon on the SoS and you should be all set...pew pew. Make sure you are also running D/W for Save Yourselves! unless your allegiance rank is awful.

Ive never had problems reaching Soar. But failed in the last part oh so many times, even using cons.

And then..try after try...I simply passed. No cons, no sweat. Maybe all you need is a good spawn.

Two eles with two monks and a splinter barrage ministry ranger is very bad spawn.

I've tried this multiple ways. Don't usually use discord but for this, the old 3 Hero Discord team worked easiest. I usually go as a spirit spammer with pain inverter (but I am guessing any profession would be ok) and plant the 2 heros with minions next to the Purity so the minions blow up from death nova as soon as the Purity turn hostile. Oh, you may need to micro protective spirit on Soar.

With my SoS I just got lucky (after dozens of attempts). With my ranger it was ridiculously hard but a trapper worked. For a dervish, not sure what your best bet is. You might try bringing a trapper hero though they seriously make it hard to get there.

You'd save more money runing and equipping your heroes - which last forever - than you do buying clovers and consumables.

Don't cop out of this; it's very doable and if I remember right I got it on my first try. The one and most important thing to do is (as always) to spread your heroes out, so they don't die to AoE. Beyond that any standard hero teambuild should have no trouble. As a Derv, you could bring something like a couple of Smiters (one UA one Strength of Honour), spirits (SoS at least, SoGM would be helpful too), a few Mesmers (Panic if you're scared, ESurge elsewise), and "Save Yourselves!" if you're still dying too much.

Flagging your heros may help quite a bit. Micro spirits pre fight. If bringing minions kill mantids etc on the way there to get an army up. Wells also seem to work well for me in many HM Woc quests.

The first few seconds of the last part are critical, which sucks. It's a lottery draw with the spawn. It's very possible that Soar Honorclaw will die in the first few seconds and there is only so much you can do about it. I used a minion bomber, ua monk, panic mesmer and I played a spirit spammer.

I would try to cheese it with a minion bomber. If you can pull through the first encounter of the last part, their backup won't be so though.
