Zei Ri Needs His Mask!!

I was so excited that I was going to complete Winds of Change in hard mode, I got stuck on so many spots but finally did it.

Anyways, at the final battle I notice him without his mask... I get worried.

I see him without his mask when I recruit him...

But his recruitment window that pops up has him wearing his mask.

But when you actually get him, he's without his hat/mask!


Now i'm a little disappointed @_@, if you can give razah the ability to swap classes, you can give Zei Ri the option to have his mask on or off.

I assume they must make the difference. A non-merc hero can't look like every ministry of purity foe or like every player/merc in a costume.
But it would be nice, the helmet would make the armor of purity complete.

I prefer him without the mask. Besides, the battle quotes he says will make less sense if you stick the mask back on him.

I won't mind alternate models. But I kind of like him without the mask as default model.

It would be even better if there was two alternate models: One with the mask, and another with an armor that looks like Elite Imperial Ritualist armor.

The 'armor' pieces to unlock one of them could drop from Imperial Lockboxes, and the other one from the Dragon's Gullet mission, to give it some use.
Miku could have alternate models too. One that looks like Elite Imperial and one that looks like full obsidian, for example (since her original armor has already parts of obsidian armor).

There's also Keiran. His tattered, ponytail and tuxedo models are already there.

Two of them could be his alternate models. One of the armor pieces could drop from a Sorrow's Furnace final chest, and the other one from a final chest added at the end of Tombs.

I'd prefer him with the mask, looks better imo

I don't know, I kinda like him without the mask. Imo a good way to show his break with the ministry without giving him a completely different armor entirely.
I don't see the harm in the ability to swap his look, but doubt that kinda swap will happen.

Would like if Zei Ri, Miku and Thacks got prestige armor like all the other heroes and thus be addable to HoM.

No to the alternate model, just leave the no-mask the default and give him alternate prestige armor sets, maybe based on the armor of purity, but different enough so that he could be differentiated from NPCs [obviously with the mask on]. And some other random armor too.

As a sidenote, Zei Ri for PvP Characters has his mask back on. Dunno why.

Back on topic: I never likes the mask and there's a plot explaination for Zei Ri not wearing it, so I'd rather leave it as is,

What would be the point of this though? Sure them having prestige armor would be nice, but having 33/30 Statues in the Fellowship Monument doesn't give anymore points . Nor does having more than 40 statues in Honor, but that's slightly different

The point? Does it need a point besides being completionist? Now if it was not so close to gw2 now and even I can see major changes to the calculator aint gonna happen I would point out that it still says it is in beta.
It does not need a point aside from getting shiny things and being able to fully complete something even if it does not gain me anything in particular other than a feeling of accomplishment lol

who said it needs to be a seperate armor? If you can change an entire class for your hero (razah) should be able to go to a place (like isle of the nameless where razah is) and have zei ri talking about donning his mask once again, etc.

I believe the separate armor qualifies as a different suggestion, and that your suggestion is going down a bit I am afraid. What everyone seems to be saying here is more or less a no to your suggestion
1. because he looks fine without it and/or
2. there is a reason for him to leave it behind.
At the same time people come with a different suggestion to alternate looks with/without a mask.
