Bad servers?

I regularly get pings of 150-300 ms when playing RA, but I get pings of 20-40ms in other games I play. Is this normal? I am currently located in the US (Texas). Here is my connection:


Can anything be done about this? The warping and stuttering is quite annoying. =\

Thanks for that. Do you happen to know the server hostnames/ips so I can run a tracert/ping?

Mouseover the "ping dot" in-game and the tooltip will display the IP of the server you are connected to.

(Also, doesn't this thread belong in the tech corner forum?)
