The instant it became apparent to me that a god-mode existed in guildwars instantly attracted me to buying Factions and now my perma has roughly half of my 2400hrs of playtime.

Does your perma farm? Cash hoarder? Vatteirs? Dungeons? Elite ends? What do you do with your perma? Share!

My perma is for dungeons, vatteirs, Fowsc and titles.

My perma is my main and has more than 1/2 my total playtime. I have only completed the campaigns on two other characters. (I have 11 that are max level and have done 1-2 campaigns.) I do everything from WoC to FoW/DoASC to speedbooking to powertrading. Sometimes I even /dance.

My perma is one of the most used classes. People who say that playing as a sin is boring are doing it wrong. I find most speed clears challenging yet fun enough to keep me entertained.

I main a sin, but I use her more for killing things than doing SF runs. The only time I really do those is when I feel 'experimenty', but the pressure of having to rework runes often deters me from doing so.

Please and i mean please - stop calling it "perma".
Perma sins died the moment anet changed sf , also any mention of perma and sin together bring out the perma haters.
It is now just a sin - not perma but just a sin.
My sins my main chr and is also my titles chr - and before any haters gets the idea ive used the old perma and the new sf to get my titles - all 17 of my titles were got after sf change and not before.
Usually the sins around doing vq or helpin guildies/other players - i cba to do the things others do like vs farming etc.
I must have a lol at "The instant it became apparent to me that a god-mode existed in guildwars instantly attracted me to buying Factions and now my perma has roughly half of my 2400hrs of playtime."
God mode existed before perma sins - the old 55 monk or necro and it surprised me what you said.

I just started playing a Sin character and if there is a way to combine skills to stay alive out there, guess what? I'm gonna use em, I don't get why people wouldn't?

I left this game a long time ago, I played when it first came out, and I remember Pvpen against Monks that would never die, I mean you hit them you fall down, and the most dmg you could deal at once was like... 4 or something, it was crazy! And that was PvP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't play my sin much (or any of my melee) anymore. When I did, it usually wasn't as perma. When I did perma, I feather farmed during the waiting period of my friends getting a group activity rolling.

Yes I have an assassin.

Yes I have SF or "perma" builds to run on it.

Yes I have specific armor and gear for running SF or "perma" builds.

It's one of 10 toons I play.

It farms, it does dungeons, it VQ's, it does missions. Pretty much what most of my toons do.

God mode existed before perma sins - the old 55 monk or necro and it surprised me what you said. I came in the game when nightfall was the latest release of a campaign. I started to play in the summer of 07 and soon after I bought eye of the north and this one particular fellow was telling me in his hall of monuments that if I had the right runes, weapons and glyph of swiftness, deadly paradox, and shadowform, I could maintain it forever. At the time, it was godmode to me. I wasn't in on the 55 monk until afterwards and by then it had lost it's share of godliness. I have heard about 55 monk farming the UW because there were no dying nightmares and the Pre-spirit bond nerf. I mean I know of those now and they are still viable options, but I hear about the assassin/high end/speed clears because that's where I'm at now

I have a couple of different perma skill bars saved. Other than an hour of trying to Vaettir farm for clovers & ale (and failing miserably), I gave up on it and am now back to my tried-and-true Death Blossom/Flashing Blades build and playing normally. Much more fun that way, anyways, than relying on a gimmick build.

Who doesn't have a sin nowdays? I enjoy playing sin because you have the option to either play PvE with a normal build or switch to SF and do some SCs if that's your thing. It's up to you what you want to do, PvE for a while or go do some SCs and earn some gold? it's up to you.

I use it when I'm broke, which is pretty hard to accomplish in this game.Birthdays gifts alone have garnered me all the coin I've ever needed exception being solo farming UW for a few days to get chaos gloves.

Outside that I rarely use the build as it bores me to tears and I'd rather PvP or dagger spam but each to their own.

I do enjoy the fact it's given Sins relevance in many aspects of PvE where as the first few years playing a Sin main were pretty brutal in terms of the communities general attitude of "love to hate it" towards the class.

As stated by others most people have one now, whether they use it much or not.
