If you have to change your toons name, is it then considered a new character, so it changes the "birthdate" of that character?
On a side note, even tho I changed the characters name, any weapons I dedicate to him go under the old name. strange........

Are you saying after you changed your characters name you weren't able to use the weapons you assigned to your char?

Straight after you craft a new armor piece, it shows the new name in the customization field, but as soon as you zone or map out, the name is changed back to the old one.

Sumit, didn't lose anything except the name. just all my weapons customized revert to the old name, as Gill sez.

I got a temp name ban for one of my toons, after the ban (and being forced to change the name) the original name remained on my armour and customised weapons. It's probably the same for pressies, but don't quote me on that
