So lately I've been getting into farming faction a lot more, doing things like MQSC and doing Jade Quarry, etc.

When I first realized what ZSC was, I almost immediately looked for a premade hero team that could AFK it for long periods of time or at least a long enough period of time for me to be able to do it if I need to be AFK for a decent amount of time.

So right now, the longest I've gotten to being almost totally AFK is around 25 minutes.

The heroes I'm using are:

Olias (MM)
Master of Shadows (MM)
Livia (MM)
Razah (SoS)
Ogden (Heal)
Dunkoro (Heal)
Tahlkora (Heal)

I figured 3 MM's might be over kill, but at the same time I feel like there's enough dead bodies for all three to be useful.

But I also feel like a couple of good Rit Heroes would be good as well.

Now I'm not expecting you guys to do all the work, I just want some collaboration. I don't have a lot of elite skills, but I'm sure we could come up with a decent build that'd be nice.

It would be great if the builds we could come up with would last longer than an hour. Just something I can do off and on if I need to run to the store or go to hang out with some friends for a bit, yah dig?

three spirit spammers + three MM's with heals + a warder should do fine

I'm a bit skeptical since it's April Fools' Day. I'm also surprised that you were able to make it to 25 minutes since with 3 MM's and 3 healers you have next to no initial damage output.

The good thing is you just need to make it to around 30 minutes. Around that time only siege turtles start spawning and they stay at their spawn point which means an easy 50 faction a minute after that point.

If I were to farm it I'd just use one of the meta team builds like 7 hero support or a variation of it.

I'm also wary of using minion masters for missions like this. Not everyone feels this way though. Pretty sure the wiki even recommends a minion bomber for this one. But anyway, minions have the tendency of balling up mobs at the frontline. This requires either you to move towards the mobs(moving the frontline away from the base a bit every time) or let the minions die. Either way it's a loss of time that can be used for enemy reinforncements to arrive.

its for AFK farming it, doing it the normal way, -active playing, is not hard.

Right now I changed it up. It didn't seem as if my heroes necessarily needed too much healing. So I replaced one of them with another Ritualist.

So right now I'm using:

-Dunkoro (Healing: Word of Healing)
-Tahlkora (Healing: Word of Healing)

Granted I'm sure two monks using Word of Healing isn't the best, but at the given moment it's the only Monk elite I have. So far in this run I'm up to 5 minutes and my heroes aren't dipping in health as much as they were. I'll either edit this and post my results or if someone else has posted, post again to let you who are watching this know.

What I've tried doing is flaging my heroes near the Battle Priest and running off and trying to kill the Adepts, but my damage output isn't anywhere where it needs to be.

Any suggestion on that? I'm currently using a PvP build that keep my HP up.

Edit 2: It seems like at any given time I have around 20-30 Minions up. Most often it's around 26 constant.

Tried it this morning after seeing this thread and after a couple of tries, getting stuck on 167 pts, managed it completely afk using:

N/Mo Minion Bomber
N/Rt Minion Bomber
Me/Rt Ineptitude
Me/Rt Panic
Rt SoGM
Rt SoS
E Searing Flames

Just stood behind the priest, put everything on aggressive except for the Rits then went and put up new blinds in the kitchen.

Cause you get like 30 points right around 20 minutes. And that's normally my heroes breaking point. The Saltspray Dragons normally take the most out.

I'm sure with combined thinking we could come up with a nice enough build. Especially with people AFK'ing Glint and AFK'ing Legendary Survivor.

I think my final score was 202 or something like that, didn't bother going for the turtles or the adepts, just wanted to see if it could be done.

My first four runs were 165-167 always piling in on the last spawn of wave 7, mainly because I couldn't do enough damage, that's what the E's for.

Definitely drop a MM, too many minions keep them away from the casters, slowing it down and causing a bottleneck that will wipe you when the minions finally die.

Finally, all of the /Rt have either Protective was Koolade or Flesh of my Flesh, as there are some huge spikes and the Necros will die.

When i did it I used 4 necros with SF and fire bars 12 fire 12 sr = massive output and unlimited energy, 2 of them also carried purtid explosion, then 1 emo bonder and 2 rit spammers. sometimes had issues with heals. If i had to do it all over again I'd do the same build but a woh monk in place of one necro.

Pro tip: Flag one spirit rit to the left and one to the right of the spot your fightin at to draw major AOE from dragons

You can get 3k lux points per hour. Not alot compared to other methods however it's more then nothing while you sleep/go to work...lolz

If you stand at the top of the hill in the middle opposite the gate so that the mobs have to come up the hill to get to you the minions should tank nearly all of the damage as both waves hit you from more or less the same place.
This also brings the frontlines to you so everything's in range of your AOE and the necros don't go gallivanting off into the sunset trying to find corpses.

It may have been worth it for the rewards at the end if some guild didn't have to show off with a score of 150k, which, with a score of 200 gets you 1 or 2 faction.

Had just finished killing Duncan for ZB from yesterday and saw this thread so took the duncan builds into to see how they would do while i ran to the store, came back and got this... i've never done this challenge mission before but nothing is happening anymore. It keeps saying wave "15" wave "16" but nothing's coming. Or is that the point of this, to just let the game run and gain 2 points every minute?



Currently @ 43 mins and 226 with still nothing happening.

Currently @ 43 mins and 226 with still nothing happening. Every 2 minutes you get +2 Points and 50 Luxon Faction Points, the wiki said:

Not sure if you notice but ZSC is one of the slowest way earn faction pts (now). Even if you AFK to the last wave because due player much earlier then you have done this and done it for a LONG LONG time like weeks AFK. In such jacked up the high score, so unless you want to AFK for days or week its really waste of time.

No I just want something I can put on like before I go to bed and wake up with like 10k faction I did abso nothing for.

I am into AFK hero farming to, such as this, such as glints challenge and other things with waves; and basicly an MM, some E-surge mesmers , SoS and a healer hero do the job just fine for me; you can try and figure out a build so you can solo kill the siege turtles yourself should be fun!
