Is there an alternative to "Protectors Defense" ?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if any of you guys would happen to know if there is an alternative skill I can use in place of "Protectors Defense" in a farming build.. or if there is a way I can get the skill without having to have Factions?

i may be wrong but usually if a skill has a related skill or skills they get listed on wiki - eg crystal wave is related to Reap Impurities & teinai's Crystals (duplicate skill) .
So based upon that i can suggest there isnt an alternative - sorry ( i could be wrong tho )

Take one from the optional 1 : Shield Stance, Disciplined Stance or Soldier's Defense

Yes, this is a question... but questions about builds should go in the campire (that keeps things organized)
