Here is a quote from Stephane Lo Presti's wiki page.
Quote:
Hi everyone,
We've just announced the launch of the redesigned guildwars.com website.
We'd like you to know that much of the old content on all versions of the GuildWars.com websites (that is: www/eu/de/fr/es/it.guildwars.com) will be deleted once the new website is launched by the end of March.
We thought we’d give the wiki community some advance notice regarding the retirement of this legacy content so that those who are interested have the opportunity to archive the material if they wish.
Thanks.
What happened to the new site coming out by the end of March?
Did I miss something?

I seriously wonder why some people are still hear. Since apparently according to them ArenaNet sucks and can't do anything right. If I thought that I would be long gone.

To the OP: Plans are just that: Plans. They can, and often will, change. Especially if they do it in-house so to speak.

I mean, I understand that Anet often drags behind their plans but they are still silent on this issue. They said only 3 weeks ago that the site would be live by the end of march. I get that plans don't go according to schedule but I would have figured they would say something.

Oh well, it's not that big of a deal.

the game is good--which is what keeps people playing, the support and er, uhm..timeline issues...not so much....

its like your favorite pizza place--LOVE the pizza, but service is slow, are you going to stop going for that reason?

I hope they do say something soon as well (or that its up next week--dont really see them finishing over a 'holiday' weekend)

It's not that Anet suck, it's that they're useless at providing accurate estimates of timescales or actually delivering on time. Most software houses are, to be fair... especially the ones that deliver awesome products from small teams.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the existing support for Guild Wars, people are just totally unrealistic in what they expect in a 7 year old game. And by totally unrealistic, I mean some of y'all are borderline delusional.
