Hi. I have 2 questions:
1. I have several unlocked Heroes (Nightfall). Is there an option in the menu where it shows their total armor level? In the Inventory, when I highlight the armor for a character it says "X-Y (depends on level). But it doesn't clearly tell me how strong they are. They're all currently around level 12.
2. Isn't there some sort of Hero 'statistics' section where you can see all the Heroes current level, strength, armor, etc? Not just your main Hero. Thanks.

have you looked at the wiki on heroes?
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Hero
or
http://www.guildwiki.org/Heroes
(explains it a bit better)

I think my question is a little more specific. A yes or no is fine, if anyone know the answer off hand.

1. Unfortunately there is no option for that in-game. In-game all you'll see is the "Armor will be x-y, depending on level". The only way to know what the armor level of your hero's is to use the formula posted on the Wiki (here):
Monk / Necro / Mesmer / Ele / Rit = Level * 3
Ranger / Assassin / Dervish = (Level * 3) + 10
Warrior / Paragon = (Level *3) + 20
2. No. The only way to know details about your hero's is via grouping - you can see their level in the "add hero to party" section, but if you want to see what skills they have equipped, what gear they have, etc then you will need to add them to your group and open the relevant screens (inventory, skill selection, etc).

98% of this game is spendt on level 20, at that level they will have the max armor. So don't worry about it.

Basically, their armor generally follows your armor progression as you go along, and as pointed out above, when you/they get to level 20, they have max armor for their class. It's not something to be concerned about, generally.
Don't forget to add Runes and Insignias to their armor for best results.
