Just a wee ponderance:
The value of diamonds has been escalating recently and is currently floating around 7k but I can't ascertain exactly why this is.
The most likely scenario is that players are buying to satisfy their HoM needs although onyx gems aren't following suit. The supply of each is roughly equivelant from my experiences: dungeons chests drop approximately equal numbers of each, do they not?
Less likely people are stocking Gelatinous Summoning Stones - I doubt this though. It's a good summon but not worth 10k+ per pop.
Other than that the only reasons I can think of are a) someone or some people are stock piling diamonds for whatever reason or b) there's an influx of girls in the game who need best friends.
Any other thoughts on this highly important topic?
What's up with diamonds lately?

Simply put, people sell diamonds on player market or save them because of the high value. Onyx gets put to trader because theyre so cheap they're not worth selling on the player to player market. And since the price is cheaper the difference between selling directly or straight to trader is smaller.

diamonds = uw, onyx = fow. fow gets sc'd massively, UW far less with recent nerfs.

Ah.... the UW/FoW end chests. Forgot those. And the witholding of diamonds from the rare mat trader makes sense too.
Thanks.
Thanks.
