Prophecies "The good'ol way"

[Move to better section if needed]
Hi!
I recently realised ive done everything in the game, that i wanted to do, and started thinking about new things to do, as i dont want to leave this game just quite yet.
And i got the idea to "end" my gameplay as it started, nearly 7 years ago.
Im going to complete every mission in Prophecies(starting in NM);
No heroes.
No cons/pcons, summons.
No runs.
No tomes and stuff.
But i want someone to do this with me, share this epic adventure once more!
I know that quite a few people have done this already, and i dont expect people to show much interest in this thread, but maybe some of you will.
I will update the thread whenever i feel to, with screenshots of our/my gameplay, builds, equipment and such.
Right now im an lvl 9 warrior named "Tiny Julia" and i'm in the middle of Nolani Academy.
If you feel like "hey, this sounds fun!" PM! or post in this thread, and im sure you wount regret doing this.
More to come!
Best Regards,
Olle

i would assume since no runs/tomes are allowed it would be proph/core only AT LEAST till LA, but if the plan is to finish the whole campaign as if proph were the only continent, then i have a feeling it'll be the whole way through

Right on! I started something similar to this a few months back - I don't play often any more.
I have been doing the same as you have; only Prophecy skills, no tomes, etc but I'm also not opening storage. That means using everything I find. Weapons, materials, money, all from just playing through (you really start to appreciate the weapon collectors through out the campaign).
Makes it feel like starting the game again. I'm a little far, actually almost done, in my play-through. Right now I'm at Iron Mines. When you get there, send a message if you like, if I'm online (IGN Sid The Overbearing).
Good show

The problem with this is the skills since release are drastically different... and without an active player-base doing this along with you it will be just a super waste of time.

Way to be a party-pooper LI
Sure, the skills have changed, i knew that, but its not the easiest task now either.
+ i got an semi active player with me, and, like we both said
we'd much rather do 1 mission per day/2 days and have FUN
rather than doing 5+ missions daily, rushing everything.

Did this myself about a year or so ago with a Ranger. I kept to the rules and managed to get the Protector title along the way, but yeah level 20 areas onwards ended up being the easiest due to the revamped henchman.
I stopped halfway during Factions as the "challenge" really didn't feel there anymore; I mean even by sticking by the rules I could run a Spirit Spam build and not even care. I didn't even want to think about Nightfall; the only way I could see myself trying to challenge myself is the heroes can only use skills I've unlocked, but even then it'll just be me grinding cash for skills.
It's good fun for prophecies but I don't suggest continuing on from that. It's bad enough with how different the skills function when playing prophecies. Good luck all the same.
