I've always been a little confused on how to do this.
How do I determine the value of a stack of materials? I have a whole lot of them I want to sell and I am unsure what their value should be!
These are the ones I am curious about so if someone could explain to me how I use the NPC to get a price I'd be appreciative!
Iron Ingots
Plant Fiber
Granite Slabs
Bone
Bolt of Cloth
Wood Planks
Tanned Hide
Glittering Dust
Steel Ingots
Help on PCing materials?

Those are all normal materials (sold and bought in sets of 10 at the NPC trader).
The normal way to calculate any material price is the average between what the NPC trader buys and sells.
For full stacks you just multiply that price by 25 for common materials or 250 for rare materials (as the trader only buys and sells these materials single and therefore gives the prices for single material units).

So, dust is 190g per 10 on the trader. I take the 190 and multiply it by 25 to get 4750 and that's my price? xD
Just wanna make sure I am doing it right. Thank you. C:
Oh you said average...so does that mean you halve it?

The Merchant has 2 prices;
The sales price whcih is always higher and the buy price wich is lower.
For example, if the sales price for 10 items is 210g per set and the buy price is 190g per set, then you take the average of these 2 prices (200g in my example) and multiply that by 25 or 250 depending on the sort of material.
P. S. Dont make new posts in your own threads in the Ventaris section, you can edit an earlier post. if you want to add anything. The Guru rules are that you are only allowed to make a new post in your own threads once every 24 hours to allow other threads to be read as well.

Yeah it's easiest to take the trader's sell and buy price and add those together then divide that by 2. Then you just multiply that with 25 to get the price per stack for normal materials. Basicly what rushin said but yeah ^^.
