I see the new GW 2 system requirements, the only one im concerned about meeting is the graphics card :
NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI X1800, Intel HD 3000, or better (256MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0 or better)

i did the dxdiag test and came up with this (im on a slimline if hat matters): ATI Radeon 3000 graphics memory: 1404 mb

Is that a sufficient card?

If not i have an extra but id rather not install it: a sapphire radeon hd 4650 512mb ddr2(designed for slimlines) , it seems that would work, am i wrong? the only reason i do not want to install it is because the last pc i had (also a slimline) died and i believe this was part the reason

My exact computer model is : hp s5704y

Try the site again and put the HD4650 in as the graphics and see what it says. But, anyway, I think the HD4650 is better than the minimum specs, but less than the 'recommended' specs. It would certainly be better than the on-board.
It's doubtful that simply trying the HD4650 would cause any permanent damage, even if it's 'broken' - it would simply either work, or not.

It may be difficult to find a better low-profile card that would work with that system's power supply. A low-profile HD7750 would be ideal, but I don't think anyone makes one (if it's even possible).
