What did you get from your 7th year birthday present?

If you are talking about "In addition to the usual games and gifts, we’re packing this party with drops and activities never before seen in an anniversary celebration!" Then they are talking about the items that don't normally drop during a birthday celebration. That has nothing to do with minis.

I don't know what I've received! Thanks to the constant 007 errors I haven't been able to log-in to the bloody game for nearly three days now. Not to mention that ANet support are about as much use as chocolate teapot.

yeah, there are unknown drops in the presents as well just wait a few days.

Seems noone is selling their presents. I was hoping I could test the theory about pets as i have 88 in my HoM.

What theory ? That you only get minis that are not in your HoM ?
Well, I already had Koss in it and still got him.

I have all but greens dedicated--so I could try for someone, however, I dont know of many peeps willing to 'give' ......so I can try for them (would be neat if it were the case though...)

Yes, both presents were from my chars. I didn't buy them.


EDIT: I opened the presents on the chars that got them. Both however don't have any minis in their HoM. Only my main char has. My HoM is set to 'account'.

ah well, guess I should probably sell mine when I get them since I dont really need any more joras

Ah well, the HoM theory was pretty stupid anyway...
...there could be a tiny sliver of chance that it's checking the HoM of the character that's opening it (ignoring the account's HoM)... but almost certainly it's just random.

Reminder about a thing that's 100% certain without needing to prove it: The (7th) presents have NO way of remembering what character they were given to originally. As stackable items they can't hold any differentiating characteristics.

Also wondering if 1-6 year presents spawned AFTER this update will stack with themselves, can someone check?
I only have one 6th year spawned after the 7th ones started appearing and it doesn't stack with old 6ths (as expected).

i can see that Anet is faaaar too busy to give us a straight answer, why should they tell us straight out? we've only been playing the game for 7years, i'm sure we have time to try and figure it out while the mini pet market crashes around us.
