A Problem many people are having.

Hey All,

To Summarise a lot of people are having the "040" and the "007" error code problems. Originally mine kept freezing on the loading screen and I got the 040 error code but eventually it logged me out and now I can't log in due to the 227 code. Is anyone else getting this problem?

ive been having connection problems mostly entering pvp arenas, ra, jq, fa, ha etc etc, ill enter match and at the arena loading screen itll boot me, usually a 005 or something along those lines, ive just chalked it up to gw2

Having the same issues. Trying to load a match in FA and get booted out of the game. I'm worried I'm going to be flooded with dishonored. Loading into any town or outpost is taking far longer then usual too.

Having the Code 227 issue as well. I tried resetting my password via my Master Account, but it didn't help. I was worried I was hacked, but now I feel better knowing it's not just me.

I've not logged in for months, I tried today, and could log in Once just fine.

I went to swap to my other chars and always get this 040 error. It is not a specific place because all 6 of my current chars are spread out all over the place.

I could not log back in to my character I first logged in with which was fine 10mins before...

I have a lot of loadingproblems, lag, red pings, etc. as well. As I understand the GW2 beta has also several capacity problems so my guess is they are using some of the server capacity from gw for gw2. Knowing this first beta is important and it is a testing beta, I understand, specially cause that would mean that after the weekend everything would return to normal. It also reminds me however bout the time Aion got introduced and they did the same thing. Logic dictates that where GW is going to loose players to GW2, it is reasonable to bring server capacity from 1 to 2. But I do hope they don't overdo it and keep GW1 playable.

gw1 is far from playable ,at least for me ,for 3 days now i can't get past caracter screen , we can just wait for the beta to finish and hope that it will get better.

odd...I play GW on dial-up and have not had any issues with connection or lag this weekend.

As i suspected ,beta is over and now GW1 is working just fine
