As we all know Guild Wars 2 is on the way, and there is very high chances we only have a few more months of Guild Wars 1. The general question is : When was your favorite time frame of Guild Wars? The answer to a lot of Player Vs Environment people is the 7min UW meta. Many people wish for some more time to enjoy this.

Is this an even reasonable topic? I think the chances are slim, but you will never know in till we try.

The problems now are -
Shadow Form - You need additional skills to stay alive. (Old, invincible to all except signets + touch skills)
Dhuum/Skeletons/2009 Halloween update - An extra enemy + additional time to complete.
Sliver Armor - Longer to kill.
Damage Buff - Nerfed. Enough said.
Activation times - Added a stack.
Mindblades - They now how Leech Signet.

Now, changing all these back would result in lots of Speedclear changes. Although it's easy to make a cap to just UW.

A possible theory I advised would be :

Just like the Normal Mode & Hard Mode buttons. PM stands for Pre meta. This function will only exist in the 3 Underworld access points. Try using it to gain entrance to FoW, or outside the outpost will not allow you. A solution like this would not change the whole entire game again, and you will still have a chance to do UW old meta if you like. Click HM, then PM button, or unclick it to take it off.

would like to see the 600/smite build come back into a more usable skill combo.
I mean lets face it the only thing nerfing sf and the 600 builds did was stop the average player from doing what the sc guys do still and hasn't balance anything.In fact it created a real elitism faction within the game and I don't think that anet want to acknowledge that.

There are alot of players out there that don't play a sin and don't enjoy it so either a change for a few classes would be in order , not just the sins.

It's an interesting thought. For a lot of people it would mean dusting off their 600/smites and other farming builds. However I feel like it would just be exploited for faster UW runs and would drive the ecto price even lower because of the increased supply.

I would love to do this, even without drops like AJ said. It's not gonna happen unless someone hosts a private server, though.

And a black rock candy which makes you run 300%, indestructible and blast through DoA doors like a godlike Ursan ! And I want shove to turn back the jade sea to water when you use it against Kanaxai in memory of King Sause !

Pre-dhuum was my era, it was fun and easy, which by that time in the game I wanted to do was have fun, didnt care about a challenge, just chillin with my buddies.

First off this is the Community News, Events and Contest section, putting your topic here, about how you want a Guild Wars of 2006-2007 back, don't see how it is relevant to this section.
So points off right off the bat. If you can't be even bother to post in the right place. Then How can one take the idea seriously.

Assuming this topic gets moved in the right section, I will say this.
I'd rather have the small team just fix the game, adding more stuff is cool, but the game is starting to come apart, the duping items of this week, war in kryta is broken to all hell and PvP is once again being exploited to get ranks in a matter of days.

But yeah, a UW area with no drops and and even more segregated skill database is what this game really needs. *rolls eyes*

I personally want the past 6 years of guild wars changes undone. If you look at it, from the nightfall release Anet failed to maintain guild wars. Shadow form's buff was a mistake of Isaiah "I just trashed a skill" Cartwright, and people who didn't give a damn about the game (see also: Live Team, John Stumme).

I however agree with Leohan: We don't need more crap to spread our already dying playerbase even more apart. What we need is that the maintainers actually fix the stupid shit they created: UW, and Dhuum.

+1 if it means you guys get ABSOLUTELY NO drops and NO END CHEST , and just doing for the enjoyment of it. Then yea why not, it wouldn't hurt the market, you guys would just be wasting cons, for nothing.

What determines this? What makes any guild in PvE better than any other? I am not saying mine is better than yours, but simply being able to speed clear very well is only one small aspect of PvE. You can't really measure who the best is based on one part of PvE. Take general knowledge of everything PvE related, then maybe you can claim things like that.

About botting, who knows what really goes on in all SC guilds, I only know of a few that use macros and bots to afk and get it done.

Pretty much every member but Jen has a good knowledge of the games mechanisms , we are also one of the last Euro speed clear guilds so we have many of the best players from those guilds to boost our numbers + our core. Almost everyone has been playing for a long time making us experienced in most areas we have consistent fast times and fail early

Having been in SC guilds, I'd be pretty impressed at the botter who can write scripts to keep up with some of the silly things a guildy will do in an end-game speedclear...

/signed for me. I'd do it for no drops at all.
