Cant log into account

Hi guys,

After some time, i wanted to play Guild Wars again. I got Prophecies and Factions registered to one account.
The problem is, i do not know my character names anymore.
I already wrote to the Arenanet support, but still waiting for an answer.
So, i came up with an idea and wanted to ask you if it is possible.

I thought, maybe, if i register a new game, for example Nightfall, can i login to my account without knowing any character name?
This way, after i logged into my account with Nightfall, i could view all my other characters and would have full control over my account again right?

Short version:

Register new Guild Wars game to my old account -> log into my new account without character name, because it is a new game without any characters(?) -> full access to my account again.

Im afraid that wont work. You will end up with one account with only Nightfall which you will be able to access and a second account (your old one) which you still wont be able to access. Even worse, once Anet gets around to retetting your old password you will still have 2 accoutns which can not be linked (except through Anet support and you will loose any progress as well as characters on your Nightfall account).

Damn, had hope it could work.
Though, i meant to install Nightfall on my old Account. So, i would have only 1 Account.
Well, I guess I have to wait for the support ot answer me =/.

yip, waiting for support is the only option unless some of the next tips work...

a: Did you play with someone else you know in real life? there's a good guess that person has you still in the friendlist.

b: where you in a guild? maybe the guild can be contacted outside the game through a website/chatserver and have you still on the roster.

c: check you screenshotfolder. maybe you have screenshots with your charactername showing?
