Between the mod pairs of +10 / -2e, +10 / +30, and +10 / +45e, which is the most functionally useful demon shield? The most valuable? Any stats gurus who offer numerical insight on the effective differences between -2e, +30, and +45e?
For that matter, do the +10 vs mods beat out more general mod pairs (combinations of +30,+45e or st, -2e or st, and -5/20%)?
Best demon shield stats? Most valuable?

+10 vs demons and -2/enchanted is the most sought after by DoA tanks. They are the most valued if you look at it this way, but +45/enchanted sure helps a lot also, placing the -2/+30 on the third place, you'll have an enchantment up during DoA as a tank for the whole run anyway, so.
And yes, the +10 mods are better than the other cominations you stated.

Collectors will seek out the Dual Inscription ones first. Seeing as having a -2 and a +10 is totally rare to begin with and then getting one that is +10 vs demons and also -2, that would be the way to go.

Imo, +10/45 is better, especially in trench (4 lord), and also a lot more rare and hard to get, since health mods on gold shields can be imperfect, while the -2ench mod can never be (on a gold shield at least). Many debate that the -2ench is more effective, but honestly, once Shroud activates, the difference it makes is non-existent. I used to be a vigorous -2ench debater though, but I changed my opinion eventually, seeing that it really doesn't do shit..

It really doesnt matter since the differences are so small, people buy these because they can, not because they need them.
You can trench as good as anyone else with a +10 singlemod. It only negates fiend dmg, but the melee still hurts the same. Its not going to save you, you either can or can't trench.
Though when looking for theoretical effectiveness, its the -2wE or the +45wE.
Just my opinion.

+30hp raw is the least valuable because it is functionally equivalent to DoA greens.
There are pulls where +45 enchanted is definitely better to have, but the flip side is that there are some pulls where -2 is better. Some of it even comes down to how you personally do some of the pulls, and it also depends on the compositions of the mobs. You'd gain a bigger benefit by swapping off of the superior shadow arts rune than you would with one shield or the other, regardless of the pull. Realistically it doesn't matter. If those miniscule differences will make or break your run on more than one in several hundred runs, you should be more concerned about the quality of your trenching.
Outside of veil the -2 is definitely a superior shield because you are aiming for continuous protection as opposed to relative burst damage.
As to value, that's more dependent on the skin. A +10 demon outcast/echovald shield is going to sell for quite a great deal of money regardless of it being -2/+45 enchanted.
