Both those skins drop pretty commonly from the end chests in GWEN dungeons. If you get into some VS Farming you should get plenty pretty fast, or you could just do quick dungeon runs if that suits you better. Getting them in GWEN also has the added advantage of them being inscriptable, unlike the randomly generated crap you're likely to get in Cantha.

The "randomly generated crap you're likely to get in Cantha" can be hundreds of ecto's worth. I sold a q10 fire 20/20 platinum staff for nicely amount of 160 ectos. Got it while chest runing in Pongmey. If it had an inscription slot, a couple of ectos would have been all to get for it.

Afaik there are few ways to gain a plat staff/wand with your preferred mods on them.
Option 1: Buy/farm ministerial commendations and trade 15 for plat staff, altho it's purple you can get it in any attribute and it has Inscr slot.
Option 2: Farm Cantha continously in NM/HM however and wherever possible/open all chests on main Island in NM/HM and HM on Shing Jea Island areas also there are few areas mentioned on wiki which you can use to your advantage.
Option 3: BUY IT but prepare to empty your pockets as a plat wand/staff(20/20) with the most wanted attributes regardless of requirement will still cost you quite fair amount of ectos(we're talking XXX amount of ectos) as they are very very rare especially the wands. It's a love and hate thing with Canthan drops especially when you get a rare item and it's req9 only to ID it and it has mods which even the merch probably wouldn't want unless he's really hungry

Go Mo/W with this build:
Go into Boreas Seabed with more Kurzick than Luxon faction, get killed, you'll be rezzed right next to the quest. Pop a wintergreen candycane to get your DP removed, pop a Grog/Spiked Nog/Keg drink and cast Balth spirit. Maintain Dwarven Stability, Prot Spirit and either Shielding Hands or SoA so you won't take any damage. Round up all the assassins (you can ball them all in one go normally) and pull them up a stairs or somewhere else where you can block them from running. Put down EBSoH, cast 100b + Whirlwind. Everything should die normally.
Equipment: 105 armor stuff. I take a 20/20 prot offhand, but doesn't really matter and a +15%wE sword that is customized (it helps) with 20%ench mod on it. Run takes about 1:30 and you get 1 or 2 Luxon chests as well that also have a chance to drop nice stuff.
Drops you get:
-Plat staffs/wands
-Dragon Staffs
-Bo Staffs
-Bladed Shields
-Paper Fans/Lanterns
-Diamond/Iridescent aegisses (not sure about those)
-Katana/Broadsword/Dadao swords
If you don't want to die + get rezzed, you can run there, but it takes longer. If you don't want to pop alcohol, swith out Balth and Dwarven Stability for Balanced Stance and IAU!, but that way is a lot harder.
