Customized Materials?

Obviously I can't ask in the related threads because they're closed, but like what?

How do you customize materials? more importantly, if said diamonds are customized, does that mean only the player who did it can use them? Explain this duping of diamonds because it makes no sense to me. can't people see if shit is custom when in the trade window?

Through whatever bug people are using to duplicate items.It sounds like the answer to this question is no, although I don't know if anybody on guru has actually tested it. At any rate, it seems like it's possible to sell customized materials to traders. (This would explain the recent massive drop in sapphire and ruby trader prices.)

Asking those questions and wanting to know how its done is a very risky thing - and i doubt it will be told on here for obvious reasons plus you risk having threads related to it closed.

you dupe materials, theyre customized, then u sell me for platinum and buy real ones

or you dupe silver zcoins that are customized, buy golds with them and voila...u got urself unlimited amount of z-keys

Well I guess like Spiritz said can't really ask how it's done without asking "How does one dupe?!"

But I mean yeah, the duping, is it a bug in the game that's exploitable, I can't imagine it would be a 3rd party program kind of thing like an editor? And if it's the former how is not EVERYONE knowing about it and to a lesser extent, doing it.

From what you say the game must know you shouldn't have the item in question if it auto-customizes it...

From what I've read no. The only things you can't use if costumised are the ones you need to equip in fact.
