ToA Ecto trader unbalance

anyone know why people try to trade 1 ecto for 2 shards? going off normal prices i see it is 4.5-5k per shard and around 7-7.5k for an ecto that means the person trading shards trades away 9-10k for something worth only 7-7.5k. if it was changed to 2 ecto for 3 shards then its closer because its 13-15k (shards) for 14k (ecto).

is there more reasoning behind this or just some sort of scam being run on people who dont often trade?

No one knows that dude. I think You should ask traders who are doing so.

Oh maybe there is another reason - this game is almost dead and no one cares about ecto?

i think partially making this thread is to bring awareness to the scam so newer people do not ripped off.

its not a scam, its a rip-off.

think of it this way.

buying clothing from retail outlets will be more expensive than from factory outlets.
