is guild wars region locked?

hey =)
i bought guild wars: prophecies from Canada (NA version) back when it came out, and now i want to buy EOTN, now i'm in Saudi Arabia and we only have (EU version).
so should i buy EU prophecies in order to play any of the expansions? or it doesn't matter what i buy?

it doesn't matter , the region thing was removed years ago

The only regions locked where Taiwan for a short while, and China until they removed service altogether.

Now you can easily move from region to region, and only guild halls are stuck in one region.

If you want to fully enjoy the game buy also Factions and NightFall.
If you want 30 HoM points surely buy also Factions and NightFall.

The servers and locations don't mind at all these days.

but just to make sure, if i buy the US version of prophecies and buy EU version of factions, i can play both "in the same account"?!
