7th Year Rare Mini Drops

just a thought but is there any chance of polar's coming from bday seen a few of those bein sold by randoms in kama lately

The Vizu+Shiro'ken screens don't rly prove anything... it's just a screenshot of a mini Vizu and a mini Shiro'ken that's it lol...
The Zhed screenie looks somewhat legit tho.
Anyway the drop rate seems to be INSANELY low so it won't affect economy much if at all. What is driving prices down atm and why people are seeing alot of rare minis up for sale in Kamadan and on Guru is because 7th year rare mini drop rate was still uncertain and some people out there thought that duped minis bought in good faith might still be deleted(which is obviously not the case).
I also certainly doubt Panda, IG, Kanaxai will be dropping at all.

I think part of the prob too is the community. Most people that were happy to post past minis did so because they were new and they knew that they would be making tons of money selling the new mini pets. The "new" birthday minis are actually devaluing what were once highly valuable and limited minis so people don't want to share that is how they got them because their prices will go down significantly. Selfishness trumps sharing information. I also don't believe ArenaNet has ever let us know and I don't see them setting a precedent here either.

Week or 2 ago I bought unded shiroken for 1200e and sold it ded for 800e.
I asked seller if he got from present and he replied positive.

I agree most wouldn't post a screenshot of Panda, IG, Kanaxai if they got one.

On the other hand, I haven't seen ANY unded for sale recently, only ded. So unless they're dedding them, then selling, it seems doubtful they drop form 7th gifts.

And what about Yeti? Oni and Naga are already out there so I don't think anyone would have a problem letting us know they recieved a Yeti. And again, I think I've only seen 1 Unded Yeti being sold this past month.

Maybe 8th Yrs will be only Gold and Green Minis from the first 5 Years, and also include these:

Purple: Yeti, Grawl
Gold: Panda, Island Guardian
Green: Kanaxai

Which would follow the same pattern as this year. But then again who knows?

And as far as Polar - I'm sure it's possible but seems unlikely if you compare the way the minis have been given out in the past. Oni, Naga, Vizu, Shiroken, ZHed were all given out in a similar manner i.e., lucky draw, random contests, massive mini giveaway, etc.

I agree with AC Whammy, I Don't think we will see any polars coming from yr 7 gifts. And it is a shame anet did this...

What about mini Grawl? that is one that is similar to naga/oni but not quite... Do they come from yr 7 gifts?

My prediction for 8th year is better, and more devastating... .

I think the 8th birthday will be an other bday event with nothing special and that the present will be the same as the 7th.

FINALLY THE MADNESS ENDS! Although, despite all the confusion, everyone was basically on the right track to narrowing down the minis anyhow.

I really don't understand the hate of inscriptions. It makes OS weapons more valuable, and let's those who can't afford/find weapons with inherent desirable mods to make them easily. Rich people get to enjoy their elitism, poorer and/or more pragmatic people get to enjoy weapon modularity. Why the fuss?

i'm just hoping for a panda, as i like those mini's, but will never have the amount of money to buy that (rediculous prices)
