First I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in the tech one.
I play GW mainly on my desktop PC with my nice big monitor. But I have a netbook that plays GW just fine with all the settings cranked down. My problem is that GW seems to store the interface settings for windows and skill bars etc on an account basis. Meaning if I move things around on my netbook, it changes it on my desktop. Is there any way to create two separate profiles?
How to use different interface profiles?

I'm afraid that it is not possible to create different profiles.

Let me explain and show.
You have say 2 pc`s and both have gw installed - now if you logged into 1 and changed all your settings then exited and then ran gw on 2nd pc the settings wont match the 1st pc`s.
A few weeks back i got a 2nd monitor and managed to change the rez and a few other bits but i also managed to skew half of the gw window off my desktop.
Regardless of what i tried i wasnt able to fix it - but i tried the old trick of deleting the dat file and replacing with a dat backup and guess what ?
It fixed it - all settings were back to original settings.
Also to avoid any confusion - only the settings from the settings panel ( f11 ingame ) are stored in the datfile and the users login data etc is not stored locally.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I didn't mean to say my graphic settings and such would change. Only that if I closed, moved or resized something in the UI that it would change on both PC's and not just one.

weird - ive never had that happen even tho i use 2 accounts at once and both have seperate locations. The multi client program i use can set the path and ive opened many times the wrong account on the wrong path ( ie program files/guildwars on c drive and d:/gw on 2nd ) and not had the ui change in anyway tho my saved builds were in wrong location.

It is saved in the gw.dat, but also on the server and it is synced everytime you logon. so the answer to the op is that there isn't a solution.
