Upcoming festival

How do you think the upcoming festival will affect the various item markets based on your experience with them in the past?
Olle
...They will drop in price and then rise again due to people using them..?

If the tokens are tradeable, expect to see a rush on them, likely at exorbitant values.
The event is more mini-game based with a lower overall drop rate of items. I don't expect to see much of a change in ecto values, so regular trading probably won't be hurt too badly. If ectos do start to migrate in value, expect the usual shenanigans as people try to drop them when they're high value or horde them when they're low.
Title-track consumables will likely be selling slightly lower than usual. Presents will be selling relatively low; expect them to go up in value after a few months have passed.

The way I see it people are probably going to be liquidating ectos for money to play nine rings.
Not sure what is going to happen to general crafting material prices (dust, iron, plant fiber) though.

People keep telling me festivals are good times to buy things cheap because other people desperate for money for nine rings, but it never happens. The people doing nine rings are parked on nine rings and AFK they are not selling things.

Well it looks like it is a good time to buy things cheap, many of the mat prices have crashed.
