Will there be more "Beyond" content?

Or combine Ebonhawke and Evennia. Go searching for her and follow her trail. See her defending a small outpost in mountain pass. Gwen and Logan decide that it is a good place to hold off Char and quickly establish a fort.

Evennia should get caught in a time storm and wind up in GW2.

Kind of OT but...
Where's the 3rd book Sea of Sorrows?

Not this year, no way. Sad as it is say, they are going to still hold their focus to GW2 for awhile after release. That's the problem with a small (yet of high quality) game developing team. They will work out the kinks and bringforth general updates to GW2 and then shift more attention (and possibly hire more) for GW1.

I am really excited about Guild Wars 2..... Guild Wars 1 was soo much FUN and it is really time to move on after 6 years.

Well, how long has this thread been posted, and no response from them? THAT should give you a hint, eh?

Relax. What he means is that you can bring a blank skillbar on any class into HM content and succeed. This is done often in hero team build testing. Your argument amounts to "if it can clear HM, it's fine", which is very clearly not the case since you can clear HM content without anything on the skillbar at all.

Something in the skill bar of a hero is still "something in the skill bar".
Party builds are composed of all builds in the party, not just one player's.
Doing something "without anything on the skillbar at all" means that none of the members in the team has anything in their skill bars.
There's few things you can do like that, and all involve avoiding combat altogether.

Er, no. You've completely misunderstood what it meant.

I hope maybe they preprogrammed some sort of ebonhawke event into guild wars 1 ready before they moved over to help the guild wars 2 guys...but a guy can dream i guess.
While you're all hooked up on Evennia, I was wondering about the Seer from War in Kryta. Theres alsorts going on in war of kryta that no one even notices.

you would hope they would tie some things up...but this close to their big release--it would just distract from it, so for a while I dont think they are going to do anything....

You mean Elona? My guess we will fight there again and get rid of Palawa Joko once and for all.

I still haven't read the GW books that are currently out, I had completely forgotten about them until now. I'm entirely unaware of what they are about.

It's a MMO game, the story shouldn't be a relevant factor so I don't think they'll bother with making any more GW content. They'll be too focused with GW 2 and reading all the complaints about it anyway.

I have my doubts that we are going to see more GW:Beyond content. After trying out GW2 MMO, I realized how complex the game is and how much it needs a big Live team just to maintain it.
One interesting thing is, the fact that GW2 relies more on Dynamic Events than primary quests (i.e. personal storyline in GW2 terminology), the tieup between GW1 lore and GW2 is very loose. You can play and level up in GW2 without going through your personal storyline and just rely on dynamic events and hearts.
What all these means is, a lesser need for more Beyond content to tie up loose ends from the perspective of GW2. Disclaimer: I have not played through the end of GW2 storyline to be sure though.

Without a story (even a weak one) there is only pvp. Even real life war heroes and mass murders that they brought down have a story.

But in MMORPGs have that "RPG" part, and if there's something important in RPGs, that's the story and the development of the characters as characters, not as a collection of numbers going up.
