I ask this because yesterday's mat was filled with err40s and many matches weren't even played. For example in the Swiss rounds many guilds went into round 6 after only playing 3 matches. And now RA won't even load half the time.

To give the reason for this type of error. There is a festival going on. Many times during festivals this is happening. Don't expect them to change it now and don't use this forum to only express frustration. Take a deep breath and do one of the following:
a: realise this is just a game and leave it alone for a few days so the festival will be gone and over
b: take it as it is and keep on playing but realise its only a game and not worth frustration.

As there is no question here, just a complaint about an error that happened during a festival and a request to fix it - neither of which belongs in Q&A...
