i notice alot of people in game complain about CoF HM and there heroes get massacred, well i just did CoF HM easy as, the only 2 party whipes i got, were in the corridor leading towards the stairs, due to stupid flagging of my heroes each time for both groups. i followed the wiki map's, and have to say with better flagging on my mesmers hero's i expect to no party whipe.

before any1 says anything, yes i know these builds are not special nor original.

also at G.O.L.E.M hm, flag the 3 necro's to the left, with both discords at the bottom of stairs and the Xinraes necro healer mid stairs, and mesmers and rits to the right stairs at the bottom, u can either afk, or run between the 2 and support damage, help necro's first as they have little defense until there minion army spawns...works for all eotn HM "quest/missions"

will be working threw dungeons, and updating the success.

also works for WoC 8 man areas HM(all)

none of these heroes are runed up properly if at all

I don't think I've ever had trouble with CoF. Seems like any reasonable heroteam should be able to do it. Alternatively, 600/Smite still works there for ~40min runs.

I run Panic, Inept, Esurge, SoS, ST, UA, SF, and it works fine here.

All you have proven here is that you can do CoF HM with subpar bars with heroes using subpar equipment.

I see nothing new here to be honest.

People complaining about CoK, SoO, VE or Slaver's Exile...those i understand because they are challenging with heroes.

But CoF? With proper heroes & tactics anyone can do Cathedral of Flames HM.

Dont forget that gw can also be completed with just hench .
My guild used to manage around 15/16 mins doing mqvq or unwaking waters vq 15/16 mins and we used no team synergy or set builds so it was a free for all .

And as Rexx said - with proper heroes an tactics anyone can so Cof HM - even 7 hero discordway with a few minor changes can be used - i made it almost to the boss in hm but ran out of time and had to exit gw , and cof i rarely visit.

The key to any area/dungeon is doing a spot of research so you know what to expect rather than load any hero builds an hope for the best.No use charging in firing off hexes to discover the foes have anti hex and hex removal.

I did a run fairly quick with 4x RoJ an ST prot and discord without the minions, and it worked out alright. Struggled with the enchanted weapons, however.

dungeons are harder then normal vanquishes and HM missions..and yes i know GW factions+proph can easily be done with just henchies, but the henchies fail HM fairly easy in some areas (reason i know this, cus its my mule)

and factions VQ's have to be one of the easiest IMO(wich i sad when u compare to prohecies)...

The build posted is not ideal, but it's obviously good enough to work against CoF, so yeah.

CoF isn't difficult as long as you bring interrupts for RoJ, ST rit so you don't eat the eles and mesmer, and hex removal for stuff like power leech. Discord will go through reversal of damage. Having plenty of pressure relief is important if you get hit by RoJ, disease, and other stuff which is done adequately with Rejuvenation, never surrender, and one copy with pwk. I will say you need displacement because of the enchanted groups if you don't happen to be a necro carrying Spiteful Spirit.

Fact=holy damage is not great even x2 against undead,, big wow, RoJ=best DPS in holy damage=to much scatter,, um yes i'll stick with 77% of players, cus even after i posted this, i still get messages in game on flagging, not to mention how many i have helped since this aswell, and im not confusing lazyness with people not being able to do it, some people can not do it, and are desperate to fill up there books,, i didnt get narky, i just pointed out what your typing seemed like and how it was read, enough said there, and the fact you keep claiming after one response "i am trying to bait you into a flamewar" just shows your pulling out the discussion because your getting angry,, if i wanted to flamewar, i would send you a PM like other people i did.

Fact, in a place where a significant portion of your enemies consist of undead, holy damage is a no-brainer. And perhaps you should learn how to use a snare for RoJ? For me I always use binding chains on a specialised ST bar, but then again, I either run a non brainer meta build, or I simply build wars every area. 77% is still a bullshit number however, and you pretty much make a fool out of yourself by sticking with a fantasy number.
Still, I am actually shocked by the fact that so many people ( provided your claims are correct ) cannot do CoF.
It means the average Guild Wars players is way worse then I thought they were.
Eye Of The North was created before the 7 hero update, thus was balanced for 1 player +3 heroes + hench being able to complete it.
Since that was possible, and henchman bars are utter shit, I am really shocked that with the option of 7 heroes, which means being able to bring every single OP skill with you, people still fail at a dungeon thats relatively easy ( pretty much the only dungeons that could possibly be a pain these days for the "average" player are probably Vloxen Excavations, Shards of Or, and Slavers in my opinion ).

Do these people read the forums, or ever visited pvx in their life?
Even while PvX is pretty much crap in the PvE section, CoF should be done with your eyes closed if you simply copy/paste the meta builds they have listed there and complete 90% of PvE HM with an empty skillbar.

The fact people actually fail at that really shocks me.
