I thought green items couldn't be identified and that their merchant values are always 35g or 0g... But maybe I totally misunderstood it these last seven years.

Greens can be IDed, and that has been possible for years, possibly from their introduction. When IDed, they can increase in merchant value. I've seen it since Nightfall release at least.

They've always been ID-able. While it's not that common (relatively speaking) for greens to be valued for more than 35 - 40g, prices in the 60-70g range aren't anything unusual.

I,m well aware of the above, but now I tested it on my Mallyx´edge. It doesnt have a stated value as mentioned above, the merchant offers 0g for it. Now i am more confused.

Some greens (like the ones from Mallyx) can't be sold to the merchant. I think, not sure though, that these greens can't be identified either.

Considering u joined in april of 2012 it is understandable that u made this mistake...
Most greens have a base merchant value of 35 gold and can increase if identified.
On the other hand, there are some that can't be sold to merchants and have a value of 0 as a result.

In my case, guru join date does not equal gw join date. I have been playing since 2005. But apparently I just never troubled myself to identify green items.
Thanks for the replies.
