error code 3010

I'm trying to log in to the game and it's telling me to please check my internet connection with error code 3010. I've just reinstalled the game and I can't get in.

Hello,

first of all I would like to point out that according to my info the errorcode 3010 isn't a gw1 errorcode. those are always 3 digit's or in case of the ingame shop (for buying campaigns and expansions) 7 digit's long. So are you sure it is this code???

Second I would like to point out that this is a community forum. So like you we are all fans of the game and players ourself. We are not support. So you might actually better of by asking this question on the official support forum (after you verified it is indeed the 4 digit code 3010) at https://forum.guildwars.com/forum

Anyone have a fix for this yet? I am really struggling to find a solution here! Same error 3010 on multiple machines, multiple internet connections at multiple locations...

Was in contact with support about error code 3010. This is the answer I got and it actually worked for me

The system is currently giving out an incorrect error message for login issues. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused you. Please make sure that you are logging in with the correct account name, as this particular error deals with incorrect account names. Your account name using your NCsoft account will be ...@ncsoft and not just ... by itself.

^Just wanna say that this did not work for me.

I have tried to login with my ncsoft account, it does not work.

It's saying that I should be entering my email address.

I still need to apply my game code to my account... I don't even know when to do that.

I've played this game before on a different account with the same game code, but that was years ago, so I don't really understand what they want from me.

I was getting code=3010 also after trying to login with my email account. I then tried my username @ncsoft, worked like a charm.

If you still need help with this or if anyone does these are the steps to take!

Assuming you can access your NCSoft master account, you will need to log into it. After logging in click on Game accounts , where it shows guild wars, the email that is showing is the email that you need to use. Try using the email and whatever password you think it is and see if u can log in.
If that doesnt work then do a password reset while in guild wars login screen. Make sure you have updated to an email you have control over to access the links needed to proceed with changing the password.
