well i just tried to login and im getting incorrect password code=011, does this mean ive been hacked? please help

If you connected your GW2 account to the GW1 account you will need to use the GW2 password I think

after all these years of seeing people post messages about being hacked I always thought you poor people i feel sorry for you guys that must really suck,, well now its me and it does suck, at least im on to it quickly i hope i get this fixed without too much damage

Perhaps you are typing your password incorrectly? Try typing slowly and carefully.

i tried many times, checked caps, done it slowly, oh well figers crossed i get the help from support

Outside chance: Have you created a PvP character then deleted it - maybe to make a merc? I've done this several times and the client "remembers" the name of the deleted char.

First of all, you did right to contact support. My advise is to not jump to the conclusion that you got hacked. The only thing you know for sure is that the password your entering is currently not the password associated with your account. Secondly if you are being hacked, nowadays they have a rollback system restoring your account. So if you didn't make any big deals in the last few days before you got locked out you shouldn't expect too much of trouble. Hope to see you bck online very soon.
