Winter shuts down the drakes, with it up there's no fire damage to light up your npcs ... And it's only one skill.

Pets and longbows with a little height advantage can reach them from beyond the energy-draining field. Adrenaline based melee should work too.
If you go for the frontal assault on the fortress (which is less trouble then the backdoor btw) clear out the area before the gate and draw as many of the mursaat as you can. Then you can dash past the two seals behind the gate to a quiet and relatively safe area to the right/north (opposite the bridge). From there you can kill the remaining mursaat before you take out the remaining seals. |
