hero flags in explorable area

I'm playing Nightfall PVE, and have several heroes in my group. In the explorable areas, is there a way to assign two or more heroes to one of the flags labeled 1, 2, or 3?

Nope,
Flag one controls the hero in spot one, flag two the one in spot 2, flag 3 in hero no 3. The whole party is controlled by the group flag (where numbered flags go before the group flag)
This is from the time that you where only allowed to bring 3 heroes. the rest needed to be either henchman or anothe rpartymember with heroes. I think bout 1,5 years ago they added the possibility to add 7 heroes, but never changed the flag system. Either cause they couldn't be bothered or cause they intended the way it is now.

Though the truth is they probably decided that it wasn't worth the extra programming and interface redesign required; And used the above reason to justify it. Which I guess is fair enough, considering how limited the Live Team's resources were (and stillare).

Yeah no you cant, but honestly ive never encountered a scenario where this would really be needed. What i normally do to kinda avoid suffering a potential big AOE hit is (with me playing a SoS) to place my MM and my 2 rits (SoGM and ST) in the first 3 roster slots so they can kinda dont get clustered with the rest of the pack. And with spirits and minions you essentially form 4 separate packets of damage dealers/support.

Mh what I recall them saying (but maybe my memory is faulty) is they don't want us to spend too much time with flags and such, and that's likely what you would do with a flag for each hero, but still play your char as normal with less micro possible.
