Lately I've noticed that Nightfall has been packed. I don't know why?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I usually see maybe 1-2 people if that. I've been seeing atleast 10-15, maybe 20 people this week in each town in Elona. Kamadan crashed the other day due to an overlay of Lag and huge user occupation.

I've also noticed a few extra people and groups around Prophecies.

True, I guess. Most people are just standing around though, They'll stay there for like 10-15 min then leave. o0.

It's just weird.

There have been a good amount of zaishen mission/bounty's and vanguishes the last few days in Kourna. And Kamadan is always packed due to the fact that thats used as the marketplace. So thats the first reason. The second reason is that GW2 is going to be released so there are a lot of returning players. Specially cause people had till yesterday to login and reserve names for GW2.

Kamadan is the only place packed in Elona on usual times. Elona is usually absolutely Dead, it is probably worser than Cantha.

People want to get their HoM ready for GW 2, and that's the only reason why they came back to GW and you can notice some activity in "random" outposts.

I do this

Logged on the other day to check for b-day pressies...8 RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing whites would you believe?! I've had 1 purple and 0 golds in the 7 years I've been playing this game. Who's a lucky boy....

Anyway, I proceed to Kamadan to get shot of them. Sold within 5 minutes and I was off.

Oh, and the people are back playing because they're either finishing off HoM, or need a dose of GW before GW2 is out. GW addicts never quit

I decided to finish my GWAMM and 50/50 the other day so I opened all my presents (I've never opened them before) and I got a mini Gwen and a mini Mad King. Not that they are worth anything these days, but I was excited (only two birthday tonics because I deleted all my original toons, but I got a Jinn tonic and a Gwenn tonic, so not bad on that front either). It was nice to finish the game getting some real luck though, playing a few days a week in FA was enough to buy FoW armour with Z Keys (hardest part was finding sellers).

Now that I've "finished" GW I feel different about everything. In a sense the game feels empty of achievements, which is great because I don't feel pressured into playing a certain way or having to invest my time or resources into certain things. I wish I had gotten GWAMM and 50/50 years ago, I would have enjoyed the game a lot more.

I suspect most people logging in are getting a GW fix before GW2, I played D2 leading up to the launch of D3 so there will be a lot of people doing the same for GW1. I'm really curious to see how the launch of GW2 impacts on GW1. I hope places like Fort Aspenwood survive the massive exodus that is coming.

Maybe try high end pvp which was intented to be the end game when people "finish" GW. It's a whole new world and I feel sorry for people who never tried it.

I do this with my mules---I am looking for something on one of them (seem to forget which ones have what )...so I log into that toon, check its bags...nope doesnt have it, log into next toon....etc until I have either found what I was looking for ---mondays are like this for me with nic trophies--- or decide I dumped it onto a different mule (account)....
