I just purchased the Eye of the North expansion for the game and then started the quest line "I Feel the Earth Move Under Cantha's Feet." I had progressed to the point where I was in the middle of this cinematic: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Into_the_North
In the middle of this cinematic, my computer disconnected, so the game also shut down.
The problem I'm having is: When I logged back in, the quest was no longer in my quest list (L). Also, the NPC who had given me the quest (Minister of Maintenance Raiugyon from Kaineng Center) did not have any quest available for me.
What should I do at this point?
I would appreciate any help.

edit: I've also tried going to the other campaign's quest givers (like Len Caldoron in LA) to see if I could gain the quest from there, but he also does not have a quest available for me.

have you looked on the map to see if boreal station is there (its on the prophecies map north of yaks bend)?
if not you might have to find another player who has yet to do this quest and team up with them.

After the cut scene you should have been transported to Boreal Station. Have you checked your map to see if the outpost is open and then tried going there? It's located roughly northeast of Lions Arch in Prophecies, past the mountainous area (not in-game to double-check my directions :P). You can also check on your map for in whichever campaign you're currently in....hit "M" and look for a large purple circle/portal thing. In Factions, it's up near Kaineng Center, in Prophecies it's next to the Lion's Arch outpost and in Nightfall it's next to Kamadan.
Otherwise...check your quest log under Primary Quests? If it's still incomplete due to the d/c, it should tell you where you can pick back up.

ok there are several scenario's
a: you have a quest active called I Feel the Earth Move Under Cantha's Feet active.
b: you have a quest called The Beginning of the End active (this is a follow up of the first quest, automaticly added to your quest log.
c: You have finished the quest and have unlocked boreal seabed (you should have a purple portal on your factions map just next to Kaineng center, click it to go to boreal station)
So basicly if you have the purple portal icon on your map you can click it and end up in boreal station to continue. If you don't no stress. Go outside of kaineng center again and turn right and up some stairs to find the clickable "npc" called the chasm (not really a person but just a hole thats selectable and clickable).
When you enter make your way again through the hallway's as if your doing the quest. As soon as you hit the spot where Ogden and Vekk are the cutscene kicks in and the follow up quest starts. I'm not sure if you get the reward for the first quest, but atleast you can continue and end up in boreal station.

Thanks so much for your help, everyone! I feel pretty dumb now... it turns out there was an asura gate thingy on the map leading to Boreal station, and I hadn't noticed it >_< I appreciate everyone's help!

You prolly missed the cutscene, but when you get to the Hall of Monuments you can always look into the pool there to rewatch cutscene's in Eye of the north.
