Hey! I'm looking forward to some DoA events with my guild. Now my problem is that most of us are unexperienced with Domain of Anguish, so Trenchway, mes spike etc wouldn't work, and I don't really like Glaiveway. What I thought is combining FoW's Manly Spike VoS, and some Trenchway builds along a solo tank. Not that much skipping, just same balling everywhere, with tank pinging honor, and MoP calling. We know physway is working here, so why wouldn't two dervs work? I know it wouldn't be so fast, but this is good for unexperienced parties I think, with a good tank.

However there are some concerns(and more of course):
-Could the two VoS survive?
-Would this tank be able to do whole DoA, or should we switch it to A/N(which would be rupted)
-What are the counters for these builds?
-What could we do at Mallyx?
Please help me correcting builds, and point out what problems there are. As I said, don't be hard, I'm bad at DoA.
Thanks in advance!

I don't really get why you would want to replace the regular spikers with VoS.
Some kind of physway can work there yes, but it's way harder than a casterspike, due to the need of perfect balls (else you'll have a huge problem with the clean-up) and high risk of melee dying quickly (and basically any mob in DoA being loaded with melee-hate).
Since you are quite new to the area, taking the safest path would be wise, so I'd stick with the regular mesmer spikers.
For Mallyx, I don't think SC teams work there (it seems hard to ball everything), but I never tried this way, so don't take it for granted.

There is no reason why this shouldn't work, but you will need a very experienced tank, emo and preferably 1 other in the team for it to work. You won't be able to spike the foundry big room, so the tank will have to hold it while the me/a (with recall and iau) takes the snakes and tanks the black beast. For the fury you will need spell breaker, so one of the spikers needs UA, probably the necro. Manlyway doa is possible but it needs much better coordination than mesmer spikes, i would recommend just taking the time to get mesmers to doa rather than spending time on manly.
