never played before ! enjoyed my first attempt

hi, i guess it isnt worth me buying guild wars 1 when part two is coming out at the end of the month .....advise anyone ?

As the complete collection is cheap now there is nothing to stop you from buying it.

Gives you an insight into the gameplay of GW1and have some fun .

play the original to learn the lore

There are 2 completely different games. If your only reason for buying GW 1 would be to get ready for GW 2 than you definitely shouldn't get it. The games are so much different that it will do the opposite. You'll get used to brilliant mechanics and gameplay of GW 1 and you'll just be disappointed when you see how much different GW 2 is.

I'm going to play GW1 actively again even though GW2 is soon out. While GW2 is nice, I still like the GW1 style a bit better.

I bought it a week ago and, though farming HoM points is a pain, I'm liking all the rest! I'm not regretting it!
